2007 Horitschon Cabernet Sauvignon trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly jammy nose, red and black berries, some sugar candy and vanilla, buttery traces. Polished fruit on the palate, straightforward, more vanilla notes and some chocolate, fairly fine tannins, only slightly astringent, vegetal notes and some bell peppers, good persistence, coffee in the background, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol, well made in a very modern style, quite concentrated, mineral traces, good to very good finish.
