2006 Weinviertel Blauer Portugieser trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Slightly muted, youthful nose with preserved plums and berries. A little reminiscent of a freshly marinated fruit in rum, with some berry juice, quite voluptuous fruit, in spite of its youth, uncomplicated, integrated mature tannins, acceptable to attractive finish. Not a lot of Portugieser character, but pleasant to drink.
