The estate is located in the municipality of Burgen (Bernkastel area) in the German wine-growing region Moselle, It is managed by Ingo Norwig. A guest house with apartments is connected. The vineyards cover seven hectares of vineyards in the individual layers of rabbit runners, Kirchberg and Römerberg (castles), Grafschafter Sonnenberg and Kirchberg (Veldenz), Sonnenlay (Mülheim), Kurfürstlay (Bernkastel), and Juffer, Almond moat and monastery garden ( Brauneberg ). They are mainly planted with Riesling, as well as smaller amounts of Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Ortega, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. It is consistently practiced near-natural viticulture. Quality criteria are low yields and highly ripe, healthy grapes. The white wine grapes are gently pressed, the red wine grapes are subject to classic mash fermentation. There is a restrained, cool fermentation. Afterwards, the quality white wines mature in steel tanks, the predicate wines and red wines in large wooden barrels. If the weather is suitable, an ice wine is also made. Grape juices, bottle-fermented sparkling wines and fine spirits (pomace, wine, fruit) are also produced.
