2017 trocken Rosé Hasenhaide, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Relatively tart, delicate yeasty, vegetal to herbal nose with nuances of red berries, mushrooms and pepper as well as a hint of bacon and notes reminiscent of almonds. Clear, elegantly juicy, rather tart fruit on the palate, delicate, sweetish and creamy, pepper, cherries and mushrooms, lively acidity, orange zest in the background, slightly drying tannins, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, dark and light mineral notes, good to very good finish. Very nicely done!
