2015 Ingelheim Spätburgunder Ortswein, Rheinhessen, Germany

Youthful nose, light yeasty and nutty notes, smoky traces, predominantly red berries, dried vegetal and earthy traces. Straightforward, again slightly nutty fruit on the palate, earthy notes, moderate oak, hint of tobacco, integrated tannins, fairly persistent, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, light touch of bitter cocoa, good to very good finish.
