2017 Ingelheim Chardonnay VDP.Ortswein trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool nose, yeasty and light vegetal notes, restrained, tart, light yellow fruit, floral and nutty traces, light mineral notes. Fairly cool, tart fruit on the palate, prominent citrus notes, lively acidity, light tannic grip, chalky notes, hint of mushrooms, fairly firm structure, nutty and earthy traces, salty traces, good persistence, clear contours, good to very good tart finish.
