2009 Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Spätburgunder Großes Gewächs, Trias, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clear, smoky nose, red and some black berries, hint of tobacco, peppery and light mineral notes. Firm, tart, juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, toasted oak and some chocolate, light acid bite, fine, ripe tannins, persistent, quite full-bodied, some dfepth, totally undeveloped, cocoa and dried vegetal notes, slightly noticeable warm alcohol on a very good, ripe, juicy finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Herber, fest gewirkter, leicht rustikal-holziger Duft nach reifen schwarzen und roten Beeren mit vegetabilen und erdig-mineralischen Tönen. Reife, etwas malzige Frucht im Mund, vegetabile, erdige und holzige Töne, leicht kompottig am Gaumen, im Hintergrund Mineralik, hat Griff und Substanz, spürbarer Alkohol, leicht rustikale Art, ein wenig Lakritz, vanillig-milchige Töne, glatte schwarzbeerige Anklänge, schmeckt nicht nur nach Spätburgunder, noch jung, guter bis sehr guter Abgang.
