2015 Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Riesling trocken Großes Gewächs "Unterm Turm", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Tart nose, preominent vegetal notes, light lactic and volatile notes, earthy and mineral notes, yellow fruit, floral notes. Full-bodied, sweetish fruit on the palate, also has bitter phenolic notes, earthy, vegetal and nutty notes, integrated acidity, slightly rough tannins, good substance and persistence, noticeable warm alcohol, mineral notes in the background, slightly rustic style, both sweet and bitter again on a good finish. At least currently not in particularly good condition, uncertain forecast.

Editor note: Fairly tartn ose, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, tobacco, delicate yeasty traces, earthy and mineral notes, very restrained yellow fruit, peppery traces. Full-bodied and sweetish on the palate, ripe, juicy, fairly polished fruit, lively acidity, herbaceous and floral aromas, persistent, not particularly heavy in spite of the high alcohol, still young, very minerally, touch of root vegetables in the background, yeasty traces, delicate buttery notes, herbaceous and floral notes on a very good polished, sweetish, elegant, juicy finish.
