2015 Randersacker Sonnenstuhl Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken "Unterm Turm", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Dried vegetal notes and tobacco on the nose, light earthy notes, hint of onions, red and a few black berries and some cherries, herbaceous and peppery notes. Ripe, fairly juicy, preserved fruit on the palate, smoky, toasted oak, some bitter sooty notes, touch of cocoa and coffee, persistent, noticeable high alcohol, light acid bite, fairly fine tannins, salty traces, hint of citrus zests, jammy notes, slightly sweetish with smoky and toasted notes on a good to very good alcoholic finish.
