2018 Traminer Auslese, Baden, Germany

Nutty and vegetal notes on the nose, hint of bacon, partly dried yellow fruit, touch of yellow spice. Both sweet and tart on the palate, nutty and light smoky notes, moderate, elegant acidity, very light tannic grip, fairly persistent, hint of oak, floral and mineral notes in the background, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, good to very good, sweet, tart, spicy finish.
