2017 Erbach Hohenrain Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Yeasty nose, light nutty and vegetal notes, touch of yellow spice, earthy and mineral notes, light yellow fruit. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, light nutty oak, vegetal and herbac4eous aromas, slightly ethereal, elegant, lively acidity, prominent tannins, earthy as well as chalky, salty mineral notes, good substance and persistence, medium body, still slightly muted and angular, hint of tobacco, floral notes, delicately sweetish and creamy on a very good, gripping finish.
