2014 Chardonnay trocken JFO, Pfalz, Germany

Fairly tart nose with prominent vegetal notes, yellow fruit, earthy and light floral notes, whiff of hazel nuts and restrained oak. Both tart and slightly sweetish on the palate, vegetal, earthy and light nutty notes, lively acidity, still slightly muted and rough, hint of bacon, some oak, light mineral notes in the background,clear contours, slightly creamy on a good to very good, fairly firm finish.
