2014 Thermenregion Pinot Noir Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Touch of soup stock on the nose, prominent lovage and some root vegetables, alos has some toasted notes and floral aromas, red berries and a hint of black berries, moderate spicy oak, becomes more evident with aeration, mushrooms, some cauliflower and earthy notes. Ripe, fairly polished, partly preserved fruit on the palate, hint of bacon, light smoky, spicy oak with some cloves, root vegetables, soup greens and some light chocolate, good substance and persistence, noticeable salty mineral notes in the background, light acid bite, fine tannins, peppery notes, very good juicy, spicy finish.
