Editor note: Firm nose, light spicy oak with a hint of tobacco, ripe black and a few red berries, dried floral and delicate herbaceous traces. Clear, ripe, polished fruit on the palate, tart and juicy, light spicy and nutty aromas, hint of cocoa, integrated tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, polished style, spicy notes, dark and juicy on a very good finish.
Best to drink: To 2023+

One of the eight specific ones wine regions in the Austrian state or generic wine-growing region Lower Austria, It was created in 1985 by merging the formerly independent wine-growing areas Gumpoldskirchen and Bad Voeslau educated. The thermal baths already known in antiquity gave the area its name, but it is popularly known as the "southern railway", after the railway line built here in the middle of the 19th century.
