2017 Thermenregion Zweigelt Reserve trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clear, quite polished fragrance of more red than black berries and cherries with some dried herbal aromas and peppery spicy tones. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, some smoky, roasted wood spice, also again peppery nuances, fine sandy tannin, some bite, good persistence, has power and substance, mineral notes in the background, a touch of bacon, very slightly ethereal hints, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with cedar tones. From the half bottle
