2000 Dornfelder trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Ruby red to crimson, very slightly lighter on the rim. Youthful nose with a light yeasty note, cherries and black berries. Full-bodied, juicy fruit, quite fine tannins, sweet extract, good persistence on the palate, still young, fruity finish.
