2004 Deidesheim Kieselberg Riesling Spätlese trocken ***, Pfalz, Germany

Firm nose with prominent mineral notes, citrus fruit, peaches and apricots. More mineral notes on the palate, light vegetal and floral notes, appears closed, restraiend fruit, very elegant, ripe acidity, particularly persistent, has depth and substance, very creamy, but also lively, still very youthful, very well balanced, traditional style, long finish. Needs time to mature.
