2018 Wachau Ried Zornberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken "Alte Kultur", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Herbal, vegetal and slightly nutty nose, ripe, partly candied yellow fruit with prominent mineral notes and tobacco traces. Very full-bodied on the palate, ripe, partly candied fruit on the palate, dried herbs, light tobacco, nutty and peppery spice, moderate acidity, oily notes on the palate, hint of smoke, intense mineral notes, a lot of warming alcohol, but also the necessary substance, good depth, quite complex, sweetish and creamy, very good, spicy and mineral finish.
