Developed, sweetish, somewhat caramelised nose of partly candied stone fruit with citrus notes, nutty and vegetal hints and a little yellow spice. Developed, relatively sweet, again candied fruit, quite lively acidity and some phenolic grip, vegetal nuances, a hint of butter caramel on the palate, black berry traces, stony mineral tones, very good, relatively sweet finish with slightly drying tannins. No longer quite in top form, but still very good.

Best to drink: Austrinken. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Translate to English Geschliffener Zitrus-Steinobstduft mit Kernobstnoten, einem Hauch schwarzer Beeren, recht kühlen Kräuternuancen und herber Mineralik im Hintergrund. Ganz leicht schmelzige und süßliche Frucht im Mund, viel Kernobst, sehr feine Säure, nachhaltig am Gaumen, ein Hauch schwarzer Beeren und eine Spur Nelken, mürber, reifer, moderater Gerbstoff, hat Griff, macht einen sehr ruhigen Eindruck, mineralisches Fundament, relativ würzig, dicht gewirkt, sehr guter Abgang. Hat noch Zeit.
