Light smoky notes on the nose, some old oak, hint of tobacco, dried floral notes, black and red berries, some dried mushrooms, cedary notes, light mineral notes. Tart fruit on the palate, dried vegetal notes, mushrooms, slightly smoky old oak, fairly prominent, slightly astringent tannins, good substance and persistence, some tobacco, earthy and mineral notes in the background, good grip, full-bodied, but also has cool elements, some bay leaf, peppery traces, dried flowers, mineral notes on a very good tart finish. As so often, needs some bottle age to show its quality.
