2013 Landwein trocken Judith, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, cool, deep aroma of black berries and cherries with fine herbal and delicately peppery notes, a little tobacco and leather, slightly bacon-fleshy tones and distinct minerality. Also very firm in the mouth, tangy, noble, polished fruit, taut, very fine tannin and some acid bite, persistent, deep and complex on the palate, present, very fine tannin, pepper and a little mint, still little developed, restrained power, elegant style, yet impressively expressive and complex, excellent depth, salty minerality, with air increasingly ethereal, resinous herbs, very good to long, tangy and spicy finish with traction
