2016 Blaufränkisch, Weinland Austria, Austria

Tart, still slightly reductive, somewhat animalic aroma of black berries with earthy and dried planty tones. Taut, tart, cool fruit, a certain acidity and lively, fine tannins, persistent on the palate, yeasty traces, slightly herbal-vegetable, also mineral in the background, has bite, good persistence, some depth, very good, firm, tart-juicy finish with slightly peppery spice.
