The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area. Weaknesses, there is little, but can occur in difficult vintages. However, this must be balanced in good years with particularly compelling assortments so that an operation can hold the status. In most cases you can blindly buy.

The winery is located in the municipality Neckenmarkt in the Austrian DAC area Mittelburgenland, Attached is the Buschenschank "Georgischenke". The operation is managed by Georg Wieder. The vineyards cover 30 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Bodigraben, Hochberg and Spiegelberg. They are 95% with the red varieties Blaufränkisch (60%), Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, and planted to 5% with the white varieties Welschriesling and Chardonnay. It is practiced consistently close to nature, environmentally friendly viticulture. The quality criteria in the vineyard are the care of old vines, short pruning, extreme yield restriction by means of thin out, meticulous foliage wall design and healthy, fully ripe grape material through an optimal reading date.

The goal of the house is to produce expressive wines with the best storage potential. The white wines are matured in a classic steel tank. The red wines ripen depending on the type of wine in large oak barrels or in barriques for up to two years. The premium wines include, for example, the cuvée "Morandus" ( Blaufränkisch , Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt, Merlot), and various Central Burgenland DAC ( Blaufränkisch ) with vineyard names. The winery is a member of the vintners associations Blaufränkischland Mittelburgenland and Vitikult.
