2004 Mittelburgenland trocken Morandus, Burgenland, Austria

Blackcurrants, blackberries and cherries on the nose, cool smoky notes. Clean, straightforward fruit, elegantly juicy, more smoky notes, oak on the palate, quite fine, slightly dusty tannins, sweetish and creamy on the palate, not particularly deep, but well balanced, delicate tart notes and some oak on an attractive finish.
