The "Jurtschitsch Sonnhof Winery" is located in the wine-growing town Langenlois in the winegrowing region Kamptal in Lower Austria. The former Lesehof dates from the 16th century, the cellar even from the 14th century. The company was founded in 1868. In 2000 a new terrace cellar with a modern press house was put into operation. Between 1972 and 2009 the estate was managed by the brothers Edwin, Paul and Karl Jurtschitsch. Since 2009, Edwin's son Alwin Jurtschitsch (managing director) and his wife Stefanie (cellar master together with Ewald Tiefenböck) have assumed responsibility. The vineyards cover 62 hectares of vineyards in the vineyards Dechant. Käferberg. lamb. Loiserberg. Schenkenbichl, Dancers and zöbinger Heiligenstein, 75% of them are planted with white wines such as Veltliner, Riesling and Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and 25% with red wines such as Zweigelt and Pinot Noir and other varieties. The vineyards have been managed according to the guidelines of the Organic viticulture,

The fermentation of the white, layered wines takes place with yeasts from the vineyard in large wooden barrels made from Austrian oak. The vinification is carried out using traditional, particularly gentle oenological processes. The red wines are aged in new or used French Allier oak barrels. In some cases, the bottles are re-assembled in large oak barrels over 50 years old. Premium wines include Grüner Veltliner and Rieslings from different locations, which are considered and Kamptal DAC Reserve are produced. The "GrüVe" (Grüner Veltliner) has been a "bestseller" for over two decades, for which the well-known painter Christian Ludwig Attersee redesigns the bottle label every year. A specialty is the red wine cuvée Rotspon, The winery is a member of Traditional wineries Austria,
