2005 Kamptal Riesling trocken Alte Reben, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Clean, slightly perfumed nose, apricots with delicate mineral notes in the background. Trabquil on the palate in spite of its youth, balanced, full-bodied wine with clean, persistent, polished stone fruit, some moderate sweet extract, prominent but elegant acidity, cool mineral notes with light spicy nuances, forms a good foundation, light bitter notes on a long, multi-layered finish. May still improve with maturation.
