2014 Blauer Spätburgunder SJ, Baden, Germany

Slightly nutty and malty, partly preserved red berries on the nose, dried flowers and delicate spicy notes. Ripe, again partly preserved fruit with nutty spicy oak and malted notes, slightly dried vegetal notes in the background, hint of pepper, good persistence, predominantly mature, very slightly astringent tannins, dark spicy notes, full-bodied and has some warmth, not forever deep, good to very good finish.
