Firm nose, ripe red and a few black berries, hint of cherries, nutty aromas, spicy traces, hint of bacon and mineral traces. Firm, ripe, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, hint of tobacco and smoked bacon, spicy oak and some cocoa, light bite, integrated, but still fairly prominent tannins, persistent and quite full-bodied, herbaceous and peppery notes, mineral notes, more peppery spice, oak and cocoa on a very good, ripe, dark, juicy finish.

Editor note: Translate to English Fester, etwas holzwürziger, eher kühler Duft nach roten und schwarzen Beeren mit Kirschnoten, Zwetschgen, ein wenig Suppenkräutern und Tabak sowie deutlicher, leicht erdiger Mineralik. Fest, ziemlich herb und dennoch saftig im Mund, tabakige und kräuterige Noten, viel erdige und salzige Mineralik, feinsandiges Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, gute Tiefe, noch kaum entwickelt, hat Griff, altholzige Töne, ein wenig Rauch, sehr guter Abgang. Muss reifen.
