Fairly elegant and fairly tart nose, ripe black berries, some cherries and pomegranate, nutty oak, touch of dark chocolate, beet root, balsamico, hint of soup greens, licorice, tobacco, earthy and mineral notes. Clear, polished, partly preserved juicy fruit on the palate, vanilla oak, some chocolate, hint of tobacco, fine, fairly well integrated tannins, full-bodied, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, but also has cool elements, touch of licorice and ice sweets, dark caramel in the background, herbaceous and salty traces and light toasted notes on a very good finish.
