2012 Wachau Riesling lieblich Maximilian, Edition Traditionell, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, earthy and mineral notes, hint of bacon, partly candied yellow fruit, hint of honey and dried flowers. Clear, polished, juicy, sweet fruit on the palate, very elegant, lively acidity, herbaceous notes, hint of bacon, persistent with some grip, floral traces, hint of dark berries, persistent, good depth, elegant bite, prominent mineral notes, more sugar candy, yellow spice and herbaceous notes on a very good firm, juicy finish. In totally different condition than the first sample, which was obviously slightly faulty.
