Firm and deep, somewhat dried-herbal and very slightly waxy aroma of stone fruit and a little candied citrus with mineral and floral notes. Ripe, juicy, tightly knit and quite concentrated fruit, some candy, a little smoke and herbs, persistent on the palate, lots of power, fine acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, good depth, waxy traces, a hint of dark berries, some alcohol warmth, very good juicy and a little peppery-spicy finish, again with herbal notes, bitterish spice and floral tones to it.
