2017 Westhofen Morstein Riesling trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Cool, fairly firm nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, light floral notes, citrus and stone fruit, prominent earthy and stony mineral notes. Fairly firm and tart juicy fruit on the palate, libvely acidity, yeasty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, light floral notes, integrated tannins provide some grip, chalky mineral notes in the background, very slightly sweetish and creamy, hint of yellow plums and greengages, very good juicy, minerally finish. Needs some time to mature.
