2016 Ungstein Herrenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm, cool nose, stil slightly muted, light floral and yeasty aromas, sweetish stone fruit, lychee, hint of strawberries, herbaceous and nutty notes. Firm, fairly juicy, ripe, cool fruit on the palate, prominent yeasty and nutty aromas, hint of tobacco, lactic traces, very elegant, lively acidity, integrated tannins provide grip, persistent, very good substance and persistence, still largely undeveloped and still rather muted, good depth, very good long finish.
