2014 Dürkheim Feuerberg Syrah trocken "Sinnreich", Pfalz, Germany

Rather firm, woody-spicy, dried vegetable and a little peppery scent of predominantly dark fruit with earthy notes. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with a slightly bitter, smoky and roasted wood, present tannin, some bite, has power and a certain alcohol warmth, good persistence, smoky tones, in the background earthy and dried vegetable, very slightly bacony, a hint of rustic, very good finish, again with a slightly bitter wood
