2017 Kasel Nies'chen Riesling Spätlese trocken feinste Selektion, Mosel, Germany

Light vegetal notes on the nose, prominent earthy and mineral notes, restrained yellow fruit, light herbaceous notes, floral notes, delicate whiff of dark berries. Sweetish, restrained, slightly muted fruit on the palate, dried vegetal, nutty, earthy and mineral notes, noticeable, slightly sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, some depth, hint of red berries, slightly muted again on a very good, rather sweet finish.
