2016 Freinsheim Weißburgunder Spätlese trocken Im Tal, Pfalz, Germany

Slightly perfumed nose, with light soapy notes and wilted flowers, mandarines and a hint of oranges, light floral notes. Ripe, creamy fruit on the palate, prominent, slightly resiny oak, elegant acidity, more mandarines, some stone and pomaceous fruit, slightly muted by tannins, good persistence, full body, slightly buttery, creamy notes, still undeveloped, grapefruit in the background, good to very good finish.
