2001 Erden Treppchen Riesling Spätlese **, Mosel, Germany

Taut aromas of citrus fruits, peaches and apples, with nuances of herbs and spices as well as minerals. Crystal clear, juicy fruit, firmly woven, lively and extremely elegant acidity, lots of sweetness, but very well integrated, straightforward style, persistent, long, fruity finish. Still has lots of potential to develop.
