2010 Westhofen Brunnenhäuschen Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese Abts E®, Rheinhessen, Germany

Quite concentrated, slightly nutty and reminiscent of wilted leaves aroma of partly dried and preserved stone fruit with caramel notes, a hint of hay and raisins. In the mouth concentrated and very sweet, but also with tart nutty and leafy tones, rock candy and raisins as well as earthy minerality, very fine, yet taut acidity, persistent on the palate, excellent depth and firm structure, has grip, light tannin, old woody tones, very good balance, seems relatively traditional, long finish
