2015 Nierstein Hipping Riesling Auslese, Rheinhessen, Germany

Firm and deep, somewhat herbaceous-vegetable, also slightly yeasty as well as delicately floral scent of partly candied yellow fruits with quite clear minerality. Concentrated, very sweet and juicy fruit with tight, fine acidity and clear candy notes, persistent and dense on the palate, has bite and grip, minerality in the background, a hint of honey, quite complex, still little developed, good depth, very good to long, juicy, again very sweet finish.
