2015 Westhofen Morstein Riesling Auslese, Rheinhessen, Germany

Dried vegetable and earthy-mineral scent of partly candied yellow fruits, yellow flowers, a touch of wax and yellow-spicy nuances. Ripe, polished, concentrated and juicy fruit, lively, very fine acidity and a lot of ripe tannin, persistent and gripping on the palate, excellent depth, a lot of candy, salt in the background, floral and spicy nuances, still very young, long, clean, beguilingly juicy finish with draught. Must mature.
