The estate is located in the commune of Heitersheim (Markgräflerland region) in the German wine-growing region to bathe, The family is already in the fifth generation of viticulture. After studying oenology in Geisenheim Klaus-Martin Marget founded a small sparkling wine cellar in 1989 and took over a winery in 1996. The vineyards cover around seven hectares of vineyards in the individual layers of Schlossgarten (Hügelheim) and Maltesergarten (Heitersheim). They are planted with the red varieties Pinot Noir, Merlot, Regent and Cabernet Dorsa, as well as with the white varieties Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gutedel and Nobling. A near-natural management takes place with greening by sowing grass, rapeseed, clover and mallow. Quality-increasing measures are careful foliage care and yield reduction through thin out,

Great value is on physiologically mature and healthy grapes.
