Very slightly muted nose, predominantly red and a few black berries and cherries, herbaceous aromas, peppery traces, mineral and ethereal traces, hint of citrus. Tart, partly preserved, relatively dark fruit on the palate, hint of bacon and some coffee, spicy oak, light acid bite, fine, taut tannins, hint of licorice in the background, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, salty traces, hint of bacon and tobacco, peppery traces, full body, still slightly muted by tannins, light bite, more spicy, toasted oak as well as some chocolate on a very good, tart finish. Needs time to mature.
