2007 Ried Dürr trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Cool, compact nose, cranberries, mineral traces, light vegetal notes and spicy oak, Still quite youthful on the palate, firm, preserved berry fruit, bitter herbs, undergrowth and dark chocolate, some light herbs and mineral notes in the background, fairly moderate oak, already well integrated, very fine-grained but also slightly astringent tannins, good to very good finish. The wine is more closed than it appears, it needs time to develop, and has the substance to do so.
