2007 Ried Steinzeiler trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Deep nose, partly preserved red and black berries, cherries, herbaceous notes, hint of dried flowers, moderate oak. Concentrated and juicy on the palate, ripe fruit, sweetish spicy oak and chocolate, earthy and herbaceous notes, very creamy, slightly sandy tannins, still young, good persistence and depth, compact and still largely undeveloped, very good finish.
