2008 Chardonnay trocken Leithagebirge, Burgenland, Austria

Still slightly yeasty on the nose, citrus and pomaceous fruit, light vegetal notes, hint of nuts, earthy and mineral traces. Clear, polished, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, herbaceous and light vegetal notes, slightly nutty oak, yeasty traces, lively acidity, good persistence, good grip and contours, still quite youthful, mineral notes in the background, fairly creamy, medium body, very good finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2012 bis 2015+. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Clean nose, pomaceous fruit and melon, nutty notes, delicate vegetal notes, slightly earthy mineral notes. Clear, tranquil and slightly creamy on the palate, polished and firm, fairly prominent and very elegant acidity, fairly persistent, prominent mineral notes, very harmonious, refreshing, good to very good finish.
