2016 Varnhalt Klosterbergfelsen Felsenstück Spätburgunder trocken "Sommerhalde", Baden, Germany

Firm, tart, reductive scent of red berries and cherries, with fine nutty, tobacco and peppery nuances, a little rose blossom and a touch of tobacco. Clear, bright, rather juicy fruit, still slightly reductive, a little cocoa on the palate, salty mineral tones, a hint of citrus fruit, fine touch, some depth, very good, tart, cool, fine juicy finish with draught and herbal notes.
