, The Korrell family, originally from Spain, has been wine-growing here for around 250 years. The part of the name “Johanneshof” stems from the fact that Johannes Korrell was the first in the family to start growing wine. The originally agricultural mixed farm was converted to viticulture with the takeover by Wilfried Korrell in 1967. Today, the sixth generation of the family is run by Martin and Britta Korrell. A newly built wine press house was put into operation in 2011.
