Firm nose, light vegetal notes, dark berries and some cherries, light nutty, earthy and leathery notes, hint of dried herbs and peppery traces. Firm, cool, dark fruit on the palate, tart and full-bodied, toasted oak and cedary traces, fairly prominent fine sandy, good tannins, persistent, salty notes in the background, hint of bacon, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, slightly astringent tannins on a good to very good, fairly juicy and spicy finish.
