The white grape variety is a new variety between Schiava Grossa (Trollinger) x Riesling, which was confirmed by DNA analyses carried out in 2012. Synonyms are Herold Triumpf, Kerner Bijeli, Kernerrebe, Weinsberg S 25 and (first name) Weißer Herold.
