2002 Dernau Pfarrwingert Spätburgunder trocken, Ahr, Germany

Clean nose with prominent mineral notes, red berries and plums. Clear, quite juicy fruit, light spicy oak, fairly prominent, still slightly astringent tannins, full-bodied, very persistent on the palate, fruity and spicy notes on a long finish.
